Floor: 1a/RE/2R . 04/30/2025 12:33 PM . ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— Senator Bradley moved the following: 1 Senate Amendment to Amendment (120290) (with directory and 2 title amendments) 3 4 Between lines 226 and 227 5 insert: 6 (3)(a) An owner or owners of a building that is three 7 habitable stories or more in height as determined by the Florida 8 Building Code and that is subject, in whole or in part, to the 9 condominium or cooperative form of ownership as a residential 10 condominium under chapter 718 or a residential cooperative under 11 chapter 719 must have a milestone inspection performed by 12 December 31 of the year in which the building reaches 30 years 13 of age, based on the date the certificate of occupancy for the 14 building was issued, and every 10 years thereafter. If a 15 building reached 30 years of age before July 1, 2022, the 16 building’s initial milestone inspection must be performed before 17 December 31, 2024. If a building reaches 30 years of age on or 18 after July 1, 2022, and before December 31, 2024, the building’s 19 initial milestone inspection must be performed before December 20 31, 2025.
