       The Committee on Regulated Industries (DiCeglie) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete everything after the enacting clause
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 1. Present subsection (4) of section 287.056,
    6  Florida Statutes, is redesignated as subsection (5), and a new
    7  subsection (4) is added to that section, to read:
    8         287.056 Purchases from purchasing agreements and state term
    9  contracts; vendor disqualification.—
   10         (4) The department must enter into and maintain one or more
   11  state term contracts with vendors for the purpose of providing
   12  building code inspection services as defined in s. 553.791.
   13         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2026.

   18  and insert:
   19                        A bill to be entitled                      
   20         An act relating to building code inspection services;
   21         amending s. 287.056, F.S.; requiring the Department of
   22         Management Services to enter into and maintain state
   23         term contracts for building code inspection services;
   24         providing an effective date.
