    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to waterbody designations; creating s.
    3         258.603, F.S.; designating the Andrew “Red” Harris
    4         Shoal; directing the Department of Environmental
    5         Protection to erect suitable markers; providing an
    6         effective date.

    8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    9  
   10         Section 1. Section 258.603, Florida Statutes, is created to
   11  read:
   12         258.603 Andrew “Red” Harris Shoal designated.—
   13         (1) Shoal S13 within the Jupiter Inlet is designated as the
   14  “Andrew “Red” Harris Shoal.”
   15         (2) The Department of Environmental Protection is directed
   16  to erect suitable markers designating the “Andrew “Red” Harris
   17  Shoal” as described in subsection (1).
   18         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2026.
