       Senator McClain moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 112 - 113
    4  and insert:
    5  permanent residence on or after July 1, 2026. As used in this
    6  subparagraph, the term “permanent residence” means a place where
    7  the person abides, lodges, or resides for 3 or more consecutive
    8  days which is the person’s home or other place where the person
    9  primarily lives. For the purpose of calculating a permanent
   10  residence under this subparagraph, the first day that a person
   11  abides, lodges, or resides at a place is excluded and each
   12  subsequent day is counted. A day includes any part of a calendar
   13  day.
