       The Committee on Fiscal Policy (McClain) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 33 - 39
    4  and insert:
    5  the agency to provide for the payment of invoices to such the
    6  county, municipality, or special district rural area of
    7  opportunity as that term is defined in s. 288.0656(2), for
    8  verified and eligible performance that has been completed in
    9  accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the
   10  agreement. The provision is not intended to require
   11  reimbursement to such county, municipality, or special district
   12  for invoices paid, but to allow the agency to provide for the
   13  payment of invoices due. The agency shall expedite payment
   14  requests in order to facilitate the timely payment of invoices
   15  received by the such county, municipality, or special district.
   16  This provision is included to alleviate the financial hardships
   17  that such certain rural counties, and municipalities, or special
   18

   20  And the title is amended as follows:
   21         Delete line 8
   22  and insert:
   23         providing construction; requiring state agencies to
   24         expedite payment requests from certain counties,
   25         municipalities, and special district for a specified
