       Senator Simon moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 3268 - 3285
    4  and insert:
    5  $193,075 in recurring funds from the General Revenue Fund and
    6  $244,538 in recurring funds from the Medical Care Trust Fund are
    7  appropriated to the Agency for Health Care Administration to
    8  establish a Diagnosis-Related Grouping (DRG) reimbursement
    9  methodology for critical access hospitals, as defined in s.
   10  408.07, Florida Statutes, for the purpose of providing inpatient
   11  reimbursement to such a hospital in amounts comparable to the
   12  reimbursement the hospital would receive for inpatient services
   13  from the federal Medicare program. The 2026-2027 fiscal year
   14  General Appropriations Act shall establish the DRG reimbursement
   15  methodology for critical access hospital inpatient services as
   16  directed in s. 409.905(5)(c), Florida Statutes. Health plans
   17  that participate in the Statewide Medicaid Managed Care program
   18  shall pass through the fee increase to providers in this
   19  appropriation.
   20         Section 57. For the 2026-2027 fiscal year, the sums of
   21  $7,741,492 in recurring funds from the General Revenue Fund and
   22  $9,804,954 in recurring funds from the Medical Care Trust Fund
