The Committee on Judiciary (Burgess) recommended the following:
1 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

3 Delete lines 40 - 70
4 and insert:
5 (2) BOND REQUIREMENTS.—Unless waived by the court, curators
6 must post a reasonable bond in an amount to be determined by the
7 court. However, bonds are not required for banks and trust
8 companies that serve as curators Bond shall be required of the
9 curator as the court deems necessary. No bond shall be required
10 of banks and trust companies as curators.
11 (3) COMPENSATION.—Curators are shall be allowed reasonable
12 compensation for their services, and the court may consider the
13 provisions of s. 733.617.
14 (4) REMOVAL AND SURCHARGE.—Curators are shall be subject to
15 removal and surcharge by the court.
16 (5) COURT REVIEW.—
17 (a) The curator shall file reports with the court when the
18 court deems it necessary. Such

23 and insert:
24 to appoint a curator of estates; revising bond
25 requirements for a curator of estates; clarifying who
26 may subject a curator of estates to removal and
27 surcharge; requiring a curator to file reports with
28 the court in specified circumstances;
