       The Committee on Judiciary (Bracy Davis) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 95 - 98
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 2. (1)A sum as specified in the General
    6  Appropriations Act is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund
    7  to the Department of State for the relief of the descendants of
    8  Charles Greenlee, Walter Irvin, Samuel Shepherd, and Ernest
    9  Thomas.
   10         (2)Twenty-five percent of the sum appropriated under
   11  subsection (1) must be provided to each of the following
   12  individuals and estates:
   13         (a)Carol Greenlee Crawlee, the daughter of Charles
   14  Greenlee.
   15         (b)The Estate of Walter Irvin.
   16         (c)The Estate of Samuel Shepherd.
   17         (d)Ruby Lee Jones, the surviving spouse of Ernest Thomas.
