Email addresses and other contact information are public records unless exempted by Florida law. If you do not want your email address released in response to a public records request, please do not register for an account. Leave optional items blank if exempted under s.119.071(1)(d)(1), F.S., or if you do not want to be informed about Florida redistricting by telephone or mail.

You must agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • Email addresses and other contact information are public records unless exempted by Florida law.
  • Your personal username and password are for your use only and must be kept private.
  • You will refrain from monopolizing server resources in a manner likely to disrupt service to other users.
  • You will export and keep local copies of important personal plans for recovery after a server failure. District Builder provides a "personal locker" for storing your plans, with weekly backups. To be certain that important plans are not lost, however, keep your own local copy.
  • If you choose to submit one or more of your plans to the Senate Committee on Reapportionment for public consideration, it will be published with your name and city on the Senate website. Otherwise, your personal plans will be stored on secure servers and exempt from inspection and copying according to s. 11.0431(2)(e), F.S.
  • The server will be retired at the end of the 2011-2012 redistricting process. User accounts and personal plans will be deleted at the time of retirement, and no backup copies will be retained.
