Sale of residential property; disclosure of windstorm mitigation rating.
—A purchaser of residential property that is located in the wind-borne debris region, as defined in s. 1609.2 of the International Building Code (2006), must be informed of the windstorm mitigation rating of the structure, based on the uniform home grading scale adopted pursuant to s. 215.55865. The rating must be included in the contract for sale or as a separate document attached to the contract for sale.
