GENERAL BILL by Brown ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Putnam ; Dockery

Elections; deletes procedures for mailing voter registration ID cards; modifies absentee ballot certificates & instructions to absent electors; prescribes information that absent elector's designee must include with absentee ballot; prohibits use of public facilities for purpose of promoting candidate or issue; provides exceptions; redefines term "contribution; reduces amount of allowable contribution for independent expenditure, etc. Amends FS.

Effective Date: 01/01/2000 except as otherwise provided
