SB 2580: Standardized Test Academic Grade

GENERAL BILL by Siplin

Standardized Test Academic Grade; provides for Standardized Test Academic Grade, or STAG, to be used in lieu of Fla. Comprehensive Assessment Test to assess high school students for purposes of promotion & graduation; requires that Education Commissioner develop & implement STAG program by specified date; provides eligibility requirements for student use of STAG; provides formula for computing student's STAG score, etc. Creates 1008.225; amends 1003.43, 1008.22.
