SPB 7016: Seaport Security Officers

PROPOSED BILL by Domestic Security

Seaport Security Officers; authorizes seaport authority or governing board of each seaport to require that said officers receive additional training & certification; creates Seaport Security Officer Qualifications, Training, & Standards Steering Committee to develop curriculum for training program; authorizes seaport security officer to take into custody any person whom officer has cause to believe is trespassing in restricted access area, etc. Creates 311.121,.122.
