GENERAL BILL by Barreiro

Schools/Parents/Student Evaluation; requires fully informed consent by parent prior to his or her child's evaluation for emotional, behavioral, or mental disorder, specific learning disability, or other health impairment; specifies contents of statement that must be signed by parent & maintained in student's school records; includes in statement understanding that evaluation may result in diagnosis for which psychotropic or psychiatric medications may be prescribed. Amends 1003.57.
