SB 2230: Mangrove Protection [RPCC]

GENERAL BILL by Aronberg

Mangrove Protection [RPCC]; Expands the penalty previously applicable to violations involving mangrove trimming or alteration to apply to any violation under the Mangrove Trimming and Preservation Act. Clarifies the Department of Environmental Protection's authority to revoke a person's status as a professional mangrove trimmer. Provides that the Mangrove Trimming and Preservation Act does not authorize trimming on uninhabited islands or lands that are publicly owned, etc.
