Committee on Children, Families, and Elder Affairs
The Senate Committee on Children, Families, and Elder Affairs oversees human service programs and matters that directly affect children, families, persons with developmental disabilities, and the elderly statewide. The committee has primary jurisdiction over issues relating to the Agency for Persons with Disabilities; the Department of Children and Families; the Department of Elder Affairs; and the Department of Revenue’s child support enforcement program.
