CS/SB 2304: Workers' Compensation

GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance ; Latvala

Workers' Compensation; requires employers to maintain business records specified by rules of Workers' Compensation, relative to exemptions from coverage; specifies requirements for certificates of insurance that must be shown to receive building permit; requires employers to post notice re anti-fraud reward program; requires DOI to conduct study re workers' compensation for persons engaged in construction industry, etc. Amends Chs. 440, 489, 626.9892.
