GENERAL BILL by Regulated Industries ; Bennett

Building Safety; (THIS BILL COMBINED IN CS/S520,CS/S494) revises membership of Elevator Safety Technical Advisory Comm.; requires elevators in certain newly constructed or substantially renovated buildings to be keyed alike within each of state emergency response regions; authorizes local govts. to impose certain fees for code enforcement; establishes penalties for unauthorized use of fireworks & pyrotechnic devices, etc. Amends Ch. 553, 399.106, 120.80, 633.171.

Effective Date: Upon becoming law except as otherwise provided
