SB 2420: Parental Rights [SPSC]

GENERAL BILL by Wise

Parental Rights [SPSC]; Provides that a child may be taken into custody only pursuant to a court order unless there is an immediate threat to the child's health or safety. Requires citizen review panels to be established in all judicial circuits. Requires the court to consider the recommendations of such panel when considering the termination of parental rights. Requires a jury for the adjudicatory hearing or trial, etc.
