GENERAL BILL by Ways and Means Committee ; Roach

Intergovernmental Programs; Revises applicability of Firefighters' Pension Trust Fund; authorizes certain municipalities & districts providing fire protection services to receive property insurance premium taxes; authorizes county to enact ordinance levying tax on behalf of certain municipal services taxing units; authorizes counties to enter into interlocal agreements for services & to impose excise tax on property insurance premiums; requires counties to provide Division of Retirement with certified copy of ordinance assessing & imposing taxes; authorizes counties to revoke its participation & cease to receive property insurance premium taxes; revises powers of independent special fire control districts.
