CS/SB 1562: Domestic Violence Center & Nursing Home/Inspection [SPSC]

GENERAL BILL by Health Regulation ; Bennett

Domestic Violence Center & Nursing Home/Inspection [SPSC]; Provides that nursing homes that are inspected by the AHCA are exempt from inspection by the DOH. Provides that certain domestic violence centers that are certified and monitored by the DCFS are exempt from inspection by the DOH under certain circumstances. Clarifies that any person may make a complaint against a long-term care facility. Requires the AHCA to conduct an inspection to determine compliance by the licensee with federal requirements, etc.
