GENERAL BILL by Communications, Energy, and Public Utilities ; Bennett ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Smith

Renewable Energy [EPSC]; Revises legislative intent regarding the state's renewable energy policy. Deletes provisions requiring that the PSC adopt rules for a renewable portfolio standard. Requires that each provider of Florida renewable energy resources build such resources, convert existing fossil fuel generation plants to a renewable energy resource, or purchase renewable energy, etc.
