This bill provides $699,999 to a special needs trust for the benefit of Asia Rollins to compensate Asia Rollins for injuries sustained as a result of the medical negligence of the Public Health Trust of Miami-Dade County d/b/a Jackson Memorial Hospital.
If approved by the Governor, or allowed to become law without the Governor's signature, these provisions take effect upon becoming law.
