The Indian River Lagoon is a state water body that provides recreational, tourism, and sport fishing incomes to the state.The subdivisions have constant flooding problems and the pollutants from the subdivision are not treated before entering Taylor Creek (SFWMD C-25) and drain to the Indian River Lagoon.

Funded with County and Legislative funds, this project would develop stormwater master plans for four subdivision plagued with constant flooding.This is the first necessary step to resolve problems.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

 

 

 

 

 

The funding will assist with the completion of four stormwater plans which will give the County and the State proposed recommendation on how to solve this neighborhood flooding and pollution problem to the Indian River.
