Project Description:

The majority of the City of South Miami was developed prior to the construction of Miami Dade County's water and sewer system.� Consequently, many of the City's residential neighborhoods still rely upon wells to provide for drinking water need.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

Potable drinking water and fire protection continue to be the City's most pressing needs.� Our recent citywide study showed that we could bring our residential areas on-line with County water for approximately $200,000
