Palm Beach Playhouse at the Jupiter Theater is situated to become a premier regional theatre, renovating the cultural and historic landmark Burt Reynolds Theater.The Palm Beach County based not-for-profit theater will present comedies,dramas, and musicals while it develops an education initiative designed to make it a cultural and educational resource that brings families and community together.� A three part education initiative will enhance the theater revival.� Children's Theatre Institute: after shool programs, Saturday acting and dance classes and summer theatre camp.� Playwright-in-Residence Program, one year residency for a recognized playwright to craft a new play while mentoring local young and aspiring playwrights. Play-Into-Film Forum: This innovative program will bring together two evenings of the same play - one at the movies, the next seeing a live performance. |
