The Girls Advocacy Project is a project that serves female juvenile detained in the Department of Juvenille Detention Center.� Currently these are the only services that are offered in detention.� The GAP has had almost 2000 girls volunteer to participate in this program to date.

This project works in collaboration with the Dept. of Juvenile Justice Dentention Cntr. personnel.� Project personnel review the intake, orientation and education procedures for girls and coordnates a schedule for gender-specific group talks.
