Project Description:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Public-private partnership for a commercial scale demonstration and economic feasibility analysis of farming marine shrimp in freshwater ponds linked to treatment systems that may be used for recycling of water onto additional crops. This economic development project will help diversify farm production, keeping agriculture strong.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

 

 

 

 

 

Minimum 10 new/existing farms use technology in 2003-04. $30-50 million farm gate in 5 yrs.
