Project Description:

This project is intended to upgrade the conveyance capacity of the primary flood control system in Miami-Dade County and to retrofit antiquated county and municipal stormwater systems.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

A reduction in frequency and duration of flooding in Miami-Dade County, a reduction in economic impacts to the federal and state government resulting from frequent flood damages and a protection of human health and safety.
