Statewide Interest:

The redevelopment and revitalization of a commercial area that is not serviced by water and sewer infrastructure. This lack of vital infrastructure has caused the area to be in a state of decline to the point of slum and blight as defined in the Florida Statutes 163.The eradication of such slum and blight will increase the viability of the commercial district thereby increasing sales tax revenues and other revenues to the State of Florida and Miami-Dade County.
