Project Description:

The Lake Region Water Treatment Plant is a proposed rgional 10 million gallon perday reverse osmosis treatment plant that will be designed to replace the three aging surface wter treatment plants owned by Belle Glade, Pahokee, and South Bay.� Using reverse osmosis treatment of the brackish Flroidan Aquifer instead of Lake Okeechobee water will free up water for restoration of the Everlades ecosystem.

Clean drinking water as measured by Department of Health standards.
