Project Description:

Four laning of ST RD 78 (Pine Island Rd) from Chiquita Blvd to Burnt Store Rd; Design Phase.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

18,775 increase in person miles traveled, 1,531 increase in truck miles traveled, 12,860 increas in vehicles mile traveled, maintain level of service, improve safety conditions, direct link to I-75 and US 41 for tourists and freight, increase productivity in along one of the state's Trade and Tourism Corridors, Create 1,494 full-time positions and over $43.6 million in wages, Post construction jobs(retail and service-related jobs) $1,084 with $31.3 million in wages.
