The need for a new building to house Gulf County Health Dept. Operations has been long recognized by state and local government ( County & City Commissioners) as well as civic and church leaders.Gulf County has been faced with catastrophic blows to the economy suffered when major employers (Fl Coast Paper Company, A & N Railroad, St. Joe Paper Woodlands Division) closed their doors.In order to meet growing health care needs the Gulf CHD must be able to expand and diversify

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

 

 

 

 

 

The ability to meet all requests of health care services to the public in a modern, comfortable setting.Increased morale among employees who are currently working in crowded conditions due to increased programs and staff and inadequate spacing.Providing high quality health care services to the community now and working toward new programs and services in the future.Decrease health care disparities as they exist and increase access of the public to a centrally located office.
