Project Description:

The 2001 Florida Legislature recognized that the closure of G. Pierce Wood State Hospital would displace children currently served in adults beds in the Manatee Glens Crisis Unit.� The Legislature funded 2.43 children's beds plus 24-hour crisis emergency support for children and adolescents.� This request is to continue this funding.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

Safequard lives of suicidal children;� Post-admit GAF score of 50;� Children will attend 86% of all schools days;� Children will be in community for 341 days/year
