Project Description:

SOS is a licensed child caring agency providing care for up to 60 foster children, currently ranging from age 9 to 18, who are in the custody of the Department of Children and Families.� The uniqueness of SOS is its mission to provide a foster care placement which can be long term if indicated, specializing in siblings, and preparing the children for self sufficiency as young adults.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

Dependent children will be provided a safe, loving, and nurturing home with preparation for independence at age of majority.� Additional goals for the development and care of the children will be in accord with the existing contractual terms with the Department of Children and Families District 10.
