Project Description:

To utilize the already existing fully operational commercial kitchen, provide nutritionally balanced PM meals that are affordable to those 60 years of age or older residing in southwest Broward County.

To promote socialization and classes to encourage the elderly population to stay active as a form of the institutionalization, which is our goal.

There will be one meal sitting at 5pm. a minimum of 3 days per week, and will increase as need grows throughout time.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

During the first year, the existing kitchen will be fully operational.� We will facilitate an affordable meal service and socialization to at least 200 or more southwest Broward seniors.
