Project Description:

Design and construct bridge and road bed in an effort to ensure involvement for an emergency exit/entrance into Crawfish Island where 38 families reside.� The project will be coordinated to coincide with the residents needs.� The community will be involved in planning, implementation and evaluation of this project.� The primary objective of an Emergency Entrance/Exit is to develop a choice of emergency services to support children and families needs in Crawfish Island.� The project is defined based on the entire population interest including those whose safety is at risk in the Crawfish Island community

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

Alleviate a serious public safety concern due to this area being cut off due to flooding or train derailment.� The project involves the implementation of the access to emergency resources in the Crawfish Island Community.� With the State of Florida appropriation, the community can supply several possible methods by which Crawfish Island can improve the safety for families and community support within the community
