| Florida Statute 237.40 created local education foundations (direct support organization) for the purpose of raising funds to provide educational programs for the enrichment and enhancement of school age children in Florida. This project will allow education foundations to more effectively accomplish their legislatively mandated mission by providing matching funds for private contributions raised by education foundations. Leveraging the involvement of the private sector will improve and reform education for all school age children. |
