| Project Description: |
| The Illiteracy Intervention Program for Truants is designed to emphasize the importance of reading in the classroom and will help promote reducing the illiteracy rate amongst juveniles who are within populations that experience extraordinarily high rates of juvenile crime and illiteracy. This program is a component of the Truancy Interdiction Program which places truant students back in an educational environment while reducing crime and juvenile delinquency in Palm Beach County. |
