| It will reduce pollutant loadings to surface water body at Choctawhatchee Bay. It will replace current septic tank systems, thus eliminating discharging partially-treated wastewater, the discharge of pollutants such as BOD, nitrogen, and phosphorus to surface waters. It will also reduce pollutants such as nitrogen, phosphorus, metals, and organic compounds from groundwater sources. It will also promote public health. |
