Project Description: |
In 2001, Serenity House implemented this project to provide specialized aftercare services to high-risk substance abusers completing residential treatment. This program provides housing, case management, counseling and advocacy to stabalize the gains clients have achieved in high cost residential treatment programs. This program interrupts the "revolving" syndrome for individuals completing treatment. Outcome and cost effectiveness data (attached) indicate the significant impact of this program upon employment, arrests, hospitalizations, and successful completion. |
