Project Description:
Children are in need of Baker Act Services at the time of crisis. Emergency crisis response and intervention is needed in addition to Baker Act crisis stabilization beds. Children are waiting several days in hospital emergency rooms for an open CSU bed while on the Baker Act. This situation is unsafe for the children and prevents treatment that is statutorily required.
