This project collects and transmits wastewater to the regional treatment plant for the entire City of Lake Worth, and the surrounding municipalities of Lantana, Manalapan, South Palm Beach, a portion of Palm Beach, Atlantis, Seminole Manor and Palm Beach Community College. Wastwater treatment is obviously an issue of statewide concern as it relates directly to our environment and in South Florida's case, to the health and restoration of the Loxahatchee River, the Everglades and the ocean.

Project Description:
The new pump station will replace an existing pump station. It will consist of three operating submersible pumps and one standby pump. The new pump station will have pumps of considerably larger capacity to handle severe weather peak flows and the influent chamber will be replaced.
