The park is located in the northeast quadrant of the City and is 1/4 mile from US90. The park is located in an economically depressed portion of the city . These improvement will help to improve the overall conditions of the community and help the City of Marianna to reach its goal to provide economic development opportunities within the City. |

| The City of Marianna purchased the existing park in 1968 to provide neighborhood recreation The City of Marianna requests grant funding to install a culvert the length of the park, build up the site to reduce drainage issues, raise a manhole cover within the park, and provide basketball, tetherball, shuffleboard, horseshoes, biking, playground equipment and picnic facilities. |
