| As the only zoo in the US located in a subtropic region, it attracts hundreds of thousands of domestic and international visitors each year. As part of the Miami-Dade County Parks and Recreation system nearly, 55,00 school children annually visit the Metro Zoo and the current exhibits of Dr. Wilde's World. Dr. Wilde's World is an interactive science and natural history museum featuring traveling exhibits of science, nature and conservation to provide an unprecedented educational and learning experience to school classes and visitors. |
