Project Description:
Project location: West 8th Avenue to West 12th Avenue, West 23rd Street to West 29th Street, Hialeah, Florida. Construction and installation of french drains, pollution control inlets, graded swales and full right of way restoration.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Groundwater will be protected by the installation of swales to filter runoff pollutants and pollution control catchbasins will be installed in accordance with the local environmental regulation agency's requirements. The potential flooding impact on the area's sanitary sewer will also be reduced. This is particularly important because there is an elementary school located in the project area.
