Project Description: |
The Middle St. Johns River Basin Initiative is an ongoing project to restore and enhance the middle St. Johns River and its tributaries. This basin is in an area where population and water use are expected to grow. Funding through this initiative will help restore and enhance this portion of the river and its lakes and tributaries. Examples of subprojects that could be funded through this request include, Deep Creek Stormwater Retrofit, Econlockhatchee River Watershed, Lake Jesup Restoration-Tributary Stormwater Parks Assessment and Implementation, Lake Jesup Stormwater Retrofits, Lake Monroe Watershed Plan Implementation, Little Econlockhatchee River Watershed Improvements, Little Wekiva River Watershed Management Implementation, PLRG Development, and Sweetwater Cove tributary to the Wekiva River |
