Project Description:
This crosswalk would be built above the road connecting the busy pedestrian areas of City Place (shopping, restaurant, entertainment, all-inclusive area) in downtown West Palm Beach with the newly- constructed Palm Beach County Convention Center. Due to the heavy traffic on Okeechobee Blvd., this would be more than a convenience factor, but rather a needed safety feature for the tourists and residents who would be utilizing the area.

Increased tourism due to the convenience the crosswalk would bring to allow groups who utilize the convention center a safe and easy method of accessing the shops and restaurants at City Place.
