Of this amount, 16.5 million passengers are arriving domestic and international tourists, contributing in excess of $2 billion in economic impact to Florida and the region.

Project Description:
The design and construction of the southside roadway (exit) system at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport will be a double deck structure to provide presently needed exit capacity and future curbside service for long term terminal development. This roadway system will also support the exit requirements of the consolidated rental car facility presently under construction and will complete the airport's access/egress roadway system.
