| Project Description: |
| The C-139 Basin initiative addresses the quality of surface waters flowing into the Everglades Protection Area from a number of western basins, most prominently the C-139 Basin. The project proposes to reduce phosphorous loading by removing sediments and vegitation from approximately 20 miles of canal and instituting a cost-share program with basin landowners to develop and implement agricultural BMPs. |
